need some help here. everytime i plug something into my computer since i had it reformatted it says you have plugged in a high speed device into a non high speed hub. i've tried searching around for drivers but my lack of computer skills has brought me to a halt.

anybody have any advice?

Does your computer actually have USB 2.0 ports???

That might be the issue.

BTW - I will be in Ellicottville this weekend. Close enough to you. Beers?

pretty sure it did, before the reformat, those messages never popped up. how would i check to see if i did?

i'll be working on friday night and have plans for saturday already. when is the octoberfest in e-ville? if you are gonna be there for that, i will definitely meet up.

I have been having this same issue, it seems like a computer bought 6 mos. ago should have the appropriate usb 2.0 ports.

my computer is a little bit older, bought it in 2004, but from what i read, the 2.0 ports were being introduced to computers well before that.

Check your hardware profile. Or check your computer model number on google for the specs.

Weekend of Oct. 10th. I will be there.

seems like from the product specs it should have 2.0 usb ports.

whats your OS?

Either way you can go here to DL driver for your stuff

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=385148&lang=en&

if you have not re-installed ANY of your driver after reformatting your lappy i would suggest to pick those up.

Most of the time they will always use the most up to date drivers in that section as well so you wont have to worry about that.

apparently if you have a vista OS they only give you quick launch shit.

Try This instead (http://www.versiontracker.com/subscribers/marketing/vtwtrial6/?utm_source=computingdotnet&utm_medium=link&utm_content=leftnavlink&utm_campaign=windows+vt+pro+lp)
