This season of Survivor has the most incredible contestant I've ever seen on so-called Reality TV. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Russell Hantz.
http://www.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/b8f65af714.jpg (http://www.freeimagehosting.net/)
A man who doesn't give a shit about winning - who's real motive is to fuck people up and fuck them over. A total wild card - a multi-millionaire who couldn't care less about the game. Who in order to elicit sympathy lied about being trapped in the Katrina floods in New Orleans where his beloved german shepard was killed (he's never owned one); who threw some of the others socks into the fire, and dumped out all the canteens while the others slept so they'd have no drinking water the following day.
CBS has been running commercials touting this guy as evil - I had no idea he really would be. I strongly recommend you check out this season.

like the bastard child of Tazz and Johnny FairPlay.
i hope he gets eaten by Samoan cannibals (or at the very least, voted out in an embarrassing double-cross).

The season looks good. I think they're going to let Russel hang around, and the hillbilly seems to love him. I'm already looking forward to the Survivor reunion to see how Probst grills him.

btw, of all the antics he pulled, burning one sock in the fire was truly evil/brilliant.
one sock is as useless as a deck with a card missing. it's maddening how close you are to having something useful, but without the final piece, it's useless!

Well, that too. Alright then, he's a seriously evil asshole.
And he owns an oil company, so there ya go. It's just that usually these assholes aren't so upfront about it.

I dont get some of the outfits they were wearing. It's not like in the past when they dumped the people as a surprise, they knew they were going to the island. Why would you wear heels, or a suit jacket?
Some serious boobs in the first episode too.

They have spent so little time with the tribe that has won everything I barely recognized most of them in challenge. Like the balding guy with the pony tail that looks like the villian in Robocop 2, who the fuck is that guy?
Ben is such a douche, I really hate anyone who tries to turn an argument into semantics.

Ugh, I hate Ben and I really fucking hate Russel. That team is just going to cannibalize itself very quickly. I don't think any of these people are thinking about their numbers going into the merge, which they should be. We'll get to know the other team's members once all of these people are gone.

I wouldn't say I like him but Russell is a genius. He's the only person who was playing the game the second it started. He's surrounded himself with people who are expendable but will vote any way he tells them, he's going to pick off anyone who comes out against him and he's distracting everyone so much they dont have time to figure out he's consolidating his power. Ben is the best thing that could happen to Russell because he can keep him around on the strength issue but use him to deflect any anger, and ultimate sacrifice him when he needs to.
But his game plan might only be good up until the merge when he's going to go in way outnumbered. I assume he's got a plan for that too, maybe selling himself as a swing vote.

I was surprised that they still had a vote off after that. Usually when someone is medically evaced (sp?) out, they count that as the elimination and don't go to Tribal Council.
Oh, and Ben is a racist scumbag.

I think the tribes are bigger this season for exactly this reason, they've come to terms that it is inevitable someone is leaving or quitting before the vote.
Ben is probably a racist scumbag, but calling a black girl ghetto trash isn't really racist.

You might think differently if you were black. Still, he also said she should go back to where she came from and eat ketchup sandwiches and drink Kool-Aid. I personally have never heard the ketchup sandwich thing, but mentioning Kool-Aid in reference to black people has been considered racist for quite some time. I'm surprised he didn't throw a watermelon or fried chicken reference in there as well.

I would say he was being classist, the ketchup sandwich thing is saying she's poor and all of his other stuff was saying she's uneducated. He's on a team with Jaison, who is educated and I'll bet upper middle class, and Ben hasn't said shit to him.

Well, I see Ben as being one of those coward racists. The kind who will say things to others but act all cordial in front of the person they don't like.
That comment about ketchup sandwiches and Kool-Aid was said to Russell, not directly to Yasmin and definitely not in the vicinity of Jaison.

This season has turned out to be so good. I've done a 180 on Russell, and I want him to win more than anything right now. If the game is fair he'll win.
Also, Shambo and Shatterstar are the same person.

I'm continually blown away by Russell's game play - the motherfucker has found three hidden immunity idols so far - and the first two without so much as a single clue as to where they were hidden.
And with the last one, he seems to have wised up and hasn't told anyone about it (yet), keeping it to himself.
This guy is truly the greatest player the game has seen so far - and in spite of the fact that he seems to be a despicable human being, I hope he goes all the way and wins it. He hit the ground running and has consistently been two or three steps ahead of everyone else. (And did you see Dave's jaw hit the ground at both of the tribal councils where Russell played his hidden immunity idols? Priceless.)
I can't wait for the finale when everyone learns how they were played, and hear all the horrendous things Russell has said about them - like calling the girls his 'dumb ass blonds'. There's a good chance he won't make it to the end - too many people will be gunning for him - but if anyone can pull it off, it's this smart, slippery bastard.

I dont think I can ever watch this show again, the best player doesnt win
From the F-18 pilot about 4 years ago, James the Gravedigger and now Russell its just not worth it
Unless, its like i thought at the beginning and that Russell was a CBS plant in the game to help the ratings, they focused a ton of attention on that guy.
There is no way that Natalie deserved to win

It wuz the pussies he beat whut robbed him.
He outwitted and outplayed them all. And he made it clear right from the start that he would do what it took to win. It was just their bitter sour grapes that wouldn't allow them to award him the prize. It isn't a game of who can be the most honest, and have the most integrity - playing dirty is part of the strategy to win, and Russell played it better than anyone in the history of this game.
But I say unto you, oh Knowledged_one, don't give up on this game - in fact, next year is the 20th season of the show - and once again they're going to have an all-star cast made up from previous seasons - this time pitting Heroes against Villians.
You know Russell will be included - you don't want to miss that.

I dont know if i can do it ever since the 3rd season or so the best hasnt won, i could even add Yao Man to that group of players that deserved to win and didnt.
It was clear those on the jury had an agenda against Russell because he orchestrated their removal. Even when they asked if it was Jaison and Shambo instead, Eric said he would have voted for Shambo.
My brother had an interesting idea, they should bring back the people who were voted out first each season to play.
But i really dont know, i take some solace in the fact that the fans know whats what and voted russell the best and natalie wasnt in the top 3
I still think Russell might be a CBS plant, I should have done what i normally do and not watch the finale shows because im always disappointed, but when i saw brett get eliminated i thought finally the best player will win.
If i ever saw Eric i would punch him in his douchebag face

Heroes and Villians could be a decent concept, I knew they had plenty of material for another full on All Star.
I just dont get how people expect the game to be played honestly. Deception is part of the game, and lying by omission is still lying so absolutely noone can make it to the end having never participated in duplicity. Colby probably came the closest by running individual immunity, but he fucking lost in the jury because he took a person who did have to hustle a little bit. I still have no explination for voting Natalie besides straight up bitterness.

Man, you got that right.
It was an Obama Jedi Mind Trick - "This is not the player you want to award the million dollars to..."
extracheese
12-21-2009, 07:53 AM
They had Russel and Natalie on the morning show on CBS to give her the $1 million check – and Russel was still making his case ….. They asked him – do you think Natalie deserves the check ? and he answers – well if you’re a quarterback running the show and throwing all the touchdown passes – she wasn’t even on the field – she was nothing more than a cheerleader !!!
They need to get the members of that jury onto a talk show so some host can tear them a new asshole. I hate Jaison the most, for putting himself out there as the moral equivalent of Mother Theresa...where he just couldn't hack it. He failed - and instead of admitting failure, he pulled this BS out of his ass.

.I agree this was Bull. Russel as good as he was made some mistakes. He should of stuck with the fact that he is a fire fighter but instead had to brag about how much he made. I think that may have cost him the million. He should have won anyway. He did everything right. Everyone was a sore loser. Jasion pissed me off as well because he would have made the final three if he was not bitching wow I can't wait till this over. You see the finish line and you give up. If you tried any amount during the challenges you would have been in the final 3. I am disgusted and it puts such a bad taste in my mouth I may never watch survivor the same. Crying babies.

There are some rumors already as to who the cast is for next season. Not sure how true they are, but this seems to be the most popular list so far.
Males:
Rupert Boneham - Survivor: Pearl Islands and All Stars
James Clement - Survivor China, Survivor: Micronesia
Tom Westman - Survivor: Palau, winner
James "J.T." Thomas - Survivor: Tocantins, winner
Colby Donaldson - Survivor: Australian Outback, Survivor: All Stars
Coach Ben Wade - Survivor: Tocantins
Tyson Apostol - Survivor: Tocantins
Randy Bailey - Survivor: Gabon
Rob Mariano - Survivor Marquesas, Survivor: All Stars
Russell Hantz: Survivor: Samoa
Females:
Stephenie LaGrossa - Survivor: Palau, Survivor: Guatemala
Sugar Smith - Survivor: Gabon
Amanda Kimmel - Survivor: China, Survivor: Micronesia
Candice Woodcock - Survivor: Cook Islands
Jerri Manthey - Survivor: Australian Outback, Survivor: All Stars
Courtney Yates - Survivor: China
Danielle DiLorenzo - Survivor: Exile Island
Parvati Shallow - Survivor: Cook Islands, Survivor: Micronesia, winner
Sandra Diaz-Twine - Survivor: Pearl Islands, winner
Natalie Bolton - Survivor: Fans Vs. Favs
Another list has Cerie Fields from Exile Island and Micronesia in place of Natalie Bolton, but all the others are the same.
I have to say that I'm not impressed. I just don't see the need to bring back those who have been on the show twice before. Enough already!
If I were casting the next group with the limitation of only being on once before, having 10 men and 10 wonen, and having a max of 2 from each season, it would be something like this.
Heroes
Danni Boatwright - Guatemala
Earl Cole - Fiji
Sandra Diaz-Twine - Pearl Islands
Terry Dietz - Panama
Jessica "Sugar" Kiper - Gabon
Yul Kwon - Cook Islands
Christy Smith - The Amazon
James "J.T." Thomas - Tocantins
Vecepia Towery - Marquesas
Tom Westman - Palau
Villians
Randy Bailey - Gabon
Natalie Bolton - Micronesia
Russell Hantz - Samoa
Brian Heidik - Thailand
Shane Powers - Panama
Twila Tanner - Vanuatu
Benjamin "Coach" Wade - Tocantins
Shannon "Shambo" Waters - Samoa
Kelly Wiglesworth - Borneo
Courtney Yates - China
