I just got a chance to buy my exact monitor refurbished for dirt cheap and I decided to do the dual monitor set up, and I fucking love it, and the thing is going back to a single monitor now is going to suck, great for applications on one side and the music, e-mail and junk on the other.
The main reason for this thread is I have a older Mac Mini and I read that it couldn't be done but found the hardware for it. I used the Diamond (http://www.diamondmm.com/BVU160.php) usb adaptor and got the driver from Displaylink online and have had no problems. Make sure of resolution compatibility issues before starting though. All newer MAcs and most Pc's have the dual display ports now, this is a solution for an older Mac, any one else liking their multiple displays? any pros or cons? I found this site (http://mandolux.com/archive/2007/index.html) with alot of high res dual monitor backgrounds that you don't have to snip in two.

I'm with ya.
I had a 19", and bought a 23" a month ago.
Now I use both next to each other, and don't know how I every lived without it...

at home, my second display is my tv, but i only enable it to watch movies.

at work, 2 20" displays. the only down side (the same with pc's as in real life): the larger your workspace, the more clutter you end up with. :annoyed:

I like to dedicate one monitor to applications only, and try to stick to it and then I have to stop thinking about a third monitor. The Matrox Triple Head to Go (http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/products/gxm/) is the popular adapter for up to 6, crazy

When I ran SLI I used a 19" and my HD 22" side by side. All movie watching, game playing, pic editing, etc was done on the 22 and regular tasks were done on the 19 using Nvidia's software. I have ample memory, etc. so I could defrag 6 drives while playing a game off the 7th. After vid card #2 shit it's britches I gave the 19 to my brother.

I miss dual support and when I upgrade I'll be buying another monitor.

I used to have that with my old computer, I'd have my regular monitor but then I'd have my TV hooked up as well. now I just have my desktop and my laptop next to each other.
