You must set the ad_network_ads.txt file to be writable (check file name as well).

Anyone pick this up?

Do I need to buy it, or just pick up a used NHL 09?

I'll probably be getting it sometime next monf, even though I didn't enjoy NHL 09 as much as I enjoyed NHL 08. I liked that they made it more realistic in 09, but it felt unfinished and wasn't as fun as 08 was.

I like what they've added to it (the board play, the revamped passing system, the scrums after plays, which i've wanted in a hockey game for YEARS), so I will be buying it. It seems kinda strange that the 2K hockey games used to be the deep sim type games (that were much better than the EA stuff) and the EA games were the more arcadey type games, but that seems to have completely flipped around.

I'm gonna pick it up tomorrow. I just bought a 19" HDTV to put next to my 40" so I can play the game on the big screen and watch the Sox too.

So, I went and picked this up last night and holy shit, do I suck at this game.

I just can't figure out how to score. Much tougher than any other hockey game I've played ni the past.

I just played one game on Allstar vs the computer and got destroyed. All my little moves from 09 are gone. Which is good, I really liked the flow and board play. I just need some practice.

I'm doing the Be a Pro mode and the Devils are fucking retarded. I'm leading the league in goals and they send me to Lowell right after a game where I score a hat trick.
