It could be a good way to sort of break him out of the creative rut he's been stuck in lately, though. He probably should do an adaptation or a remake. Don't let any of the Wilson brothers close to it, and try to do something not about a dysfunctional family.

He needs the same sort of creative reboot the other Anderson, Paul Thomas, did with "There Will Be Blood."

For that matter, Kevin Smith might want to look into it too.

I havent listened to the smodcast in the past 2-3 months, but last I heard ksmith was going to direct a cop movie w/ bruce willis (that he didnt write).
