Anyone else out there watch this show? I was watching it this afternoon in my pathetic apartment while I was doing some freelance editing. Do I really need to see Mariah Carey's three-floor penthouse? Her "closet" is as big as my friggin' apartment!

I could watch Cribs all day. The best one was this piece-of-crap little apartment with a dirty sofa. I think it belonged to one of the guys from "Dude, Where's my Car?"

But most of the time, I'm just thinking, "No Fair."

Cribs f'n rocks! The best one's are the ones featuring any black rapper. They have sooo much cool sh*t it's insane. They have fancy stuff and then they tell you they don't know why they bought it, it just seemed like they should have it because it was expensive.

Anway does anyone remember the Jason Willams ep? He had a golf course, a stable for his horses, a movie theater designed for his NBA friends and more cars than a dealership.

For those who dont know he used to play for the Nets. He retired in 1999 after an injury.

Redman's "Cribs" episode was hilarious. He lives in a shittier place than I do and he's rich. He did say one interesting thing though... something along the lines of "I'm not buying big houses or expensive cars because you never know when your popularity is gonna run out and I don't want to be broke one day". I love a good, implied Hammer reference.

i do watch the show and get annoyed at how rich most of these talentless tools are, but it is nice to see that rich stuff, however, how shallow do you need to be on that show? why would you want to show off your rich shit to people who are not rich, it's a little too egotisitcal to me.

I saw the episode last nite with Russel Simons.. he ahd all this Phat farm shit(it was like a commercial) in this awesome penthouse a block away from the trade center.. his place was so nice and he has the cutest little kid.. After the episode they played that enya song and said how is building suffered great damage and he had to move.. The part of Jason Williams House was the full set of Construction vehicles and his likes to ride his cows...

I love this show, it gives me ideas for my house when I become an incredibly filthy rich director
and I feel good for some of these people- when they show where they USED to live in little shacks then you see their houses, it makes you happy for them. Some of them deserve it.
