They did not have half and half in the fridge at work by the coffee maker. I am pissed! I need half and half in my coffee. Some woman that works there said to use milk instead. Milk? Yuck to me milk is white water! Skim is even thinner, why bother?
I like the thicker quality that half and half adds to coffee. If you prefer it like mine, say so. If you do not, its okay, but explain yourself!

I too prefer a bit of half and half in my coffee, with no sugar.
In the absence of half and half I will drink it black.
I share your sentiments on milk.

I keep a box of these in my desk drawer for just such emergencies:

Land O' Lakes Mini Moos. Through the miracle of modern science, they don't need refrigeration & won't go bad.

why not just get hazelnut flavored coffee?

I prefer half and half, but can live with whole milk.
I take mine with a little milk usually or black. If there's half and half or cream, I'll use those over milk.

skim milk or black, it's about the coffee flavor and caffeine, not about making it a sweet creamy drink. I used to drink it all black but with the amounts of coffee I would drink I started adding a little more milk to make it easier on my stomach.
Sugar only belongs in Cappuccino or Latte.

I used to have a math tutor in elementary school that drank black coffee all day. Her breath reked of it and her teeth were stained brown. Of course she sat 2 inches from me and would breathe in my face. Aweful!
If there was only whole milk, I'd take that over skim or 1%, but if they only had the skim, I'd drink it black, or have tea. I do not like bitter coffee.
