I can tell you that Blount isn't going to play another game this season.

I'd like to see what he said first. This guy just chimped out. Take it and go back to your sideline. He was going after fans! This is also a guy that was thrown out of the first practice for "behavioral issues".
I'd like to see how sturdy your knees are after getting sucker punched!

I think he'll be suspended but not kicked off. it was stupid to punch the guy but I think he really screwed up when he went crazy as he was being taken off the field, fighting with his coach and with that cop.

Just like Marcus Vick - another stupid player that should be kicked off the team and sent back home to his thug lifestyle.
I wanted to hit players every fuckin game I played - I never did it but it was a reflection of self control - something alot of players dont have a grip on now-a-days

would this be allowed in the minor pro league? these kids getting paid would relieve alot of that frustration.

If I was taunting someone, I'd also be paying attention to the people I was taunting.

Oregon looked like shit all game. This punch is the only real "highlight" of the game for Oregon. This season could be a rough one for my beloved Ducks.
Oh, in the Oregon newspapers and opinion pages some people are calling for Blount to be kicked out of school and college football for the punch.

Looking at the clip its hilarious how quickly that little bitch got dropped.

Blount was supposedly talking all kinds of shite in peoples faces before and during the game. Mr. Hit-the-Deck was trying to even the score, guess he picked the wrong time/guy.

If you watched the game, you saw that there was a lot of back story with Mr. Blount from Oregon.
He was quoted as saying "We owe them (Boise State) an Ass Whoopin" in the papers before the game (Boise went into Oregon and won last year), which Boise St used as bulletin board material. He was wearing a target all game.
Boise shut him down, and shut him up. Blount's stats... 8 carries, -5 yards, including being tackled in the end zone for a safety.
I would guess that Hout sought out #9 (Blount) after the game to ask him where his "Ass Whoopin" was... and he found out.

It was just a week or so ago that I heard Ron explaining that they used to call sucker punching someone like that "sneaking" someone... as in, "I'm going to SNEAK Dave"... or "I SNUCK Fez last night as we were leaving the restaurant".
Which is exactly how Mark Jones (who was calling the game with Bob Davie) described it.
He SNUCK him!

Not quite.
The guy ran up to him, pushed him and turned his back to him instantly (like a pussy).
And got hit.
Sneaking someone means they never knew it was comin.
This guy should have known.

Since we are talking about a sport with a real risk of players being seriously injured -- or even killed -- on pretty much every play, you'd think self control would be a trait coaches would want in all their players.
