MyFy dead

I got great customer service from XM Canada today,I was getting a loading message constantly and losing reception, my battery was dead even though it never left the cradle.So I switched back to my old radio when I asked about my MyFy she said in a heavy Indian accent that the radio was defective, that's it I asked? /well yes,/ so what just throw it out? huh? no help at all.............the fucking thing is 14 months old ,oh well I'm just pissed at the shit made these days, coffee makers that last a year tvs, dvd players mp3 its all shit that's made to break!!!! http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:CBUAoA2npiqiOM:http://blog.i2fly.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/10/india-mobile.jpg

but i did get 4 years out of it

I got about a month out of mine before the screen broke, it constantly displayed the "antenna" screen. I dealt with that for about 3 years before I got a different model radio earlier this year.

I'm having a similar issue w/ my old school Sirius Orbitor ( yes, like the very first one that came out ).

It will work fine sometimes but there are other times when it shows on the screen full reception bars and I can see the name of the program but there's no sound.

It's completely random as sometimes it works and others it doesn't.

I spoke to a guy a while back, an American actually, and they did the whole reset the signal and all and that didn't work.

Finally it seemed like he ran out of fixes/options and he just said " Oh yeah well maybe the receiver doesn't work. "

To which I responded " Well then shouldn't I never hear anything or receive anything ? "

He had no answer.

The thing is I guess 4/5 years old by now but all it does is sit in the cradle of the car.

I'm not tossing it around like a baseball.

If you already dropped the $50, I hope it works out well for ya, but I've never seen another piece of gear get reviews as bad as I've seen for the SkyFi 3. They offered me one for $19.95 when I signed up for the 3 month Stern package, I declined it. I don't have anything bad to say about my heavily dropped & scratched Helix.

50$ is the same as 3months sub so I guess I can't really lose. My old express EZ just keeps clunking along for now. I got it for free a few years ago, that's the way to sell subs
