What's the most expensive clothing item you own? I'd have to say maybe a leather jacket I have. Actually, probably my wedding dress-- $1100 for something I only wore once and will never wear again!

I have this nice black corporate suit $250.00. I wore it a few times on interviews, but that's about it. I'm just a plain Jane jeans and shirt wearing girl.

what about items you plan to own because i'm creating plans for a webshooter/grappling hook thing or a utility belt/armor thing I wear.
Other than that, probably a suit that's around $250-300 but it's a nice suit.

My glasses frames, the ones I had before my current pair were Gucci and close to $900 but insurance paid off most of it.
I keep breaking off arms though and it was almost more expensive for single parts then for the entire frames so now I have my nice little Italian glasses.

Nobody's curious about what makes Sheep's pants special? Perhaps an anatomical anomaly?

Half my wardrobe!!
I buy stuff completely on sale! I fluctuate between a size 6 and 10. Can't afford high ticket stuff if it won't fit a year from now!

I never pay full price for any of it....the bulk of my wardrobe came from the 3 years I worked at Macy's. I was a selling specialist and had a wardrobe allowance so i got a lot of free stuff. Plus they would have aged markdowns constantly. They'd mark shit down to $9.99 then with all the dicounts the stuff would end up being between $3-5...NICE. I still get cheap stuff there with connections :p

A pair of black velvet Prada platforms. They were $400 on sale at Nordstroms.

I have some really expensive shirts, and I'm not counting the suits, which come as a set. I also have a diamond encrusted penis sweater from Victoria's Secret Penis Wear that cost me a quarter of a mil, which doesn't include dry cleaning. And to make it worse, the idiots put the diamonds on the INSIDE of the sweater.

I know this may be hard for those of you who know me to believe...but I'm not really a fashion maven. No, it's true. Seriously.
I think my cowboy hat from my days when I was in a band is probably the most expensive thing I ever bought, and that was only about $60. I'm gonna go dust it off now, I think it's in the attic.

I'm more into spending money on stuff other than clothes. Spilling something on a >$100 clothing article is just as easy as a <$50 article.
When I was working in TV, though, I did make an INVESTMENT in a $150 pair of insulated Timberland boots. When you work outside in the cold and can't go in from time to time, these were the only things that helped keep my feet warm. I continue to buy the same kind, because they are comfortable, and they last for a long time. I'm on my second pair in 8 years.

CC Those sales at Sterns were crazy!! When I was working in midtown I would hit the one in the Manhattan Mall almost every day until they closed. I got a few pairs of $65+ shoes for between $4.00 and $6.00. I got makeup for under $10.00, accessories and jewelry for under $5.00. Man that was GREAT!
Also Caldor went out of business a few years ago when I was first moving out on my own. I got dishes and pots and pans for ridiculously low prices. Stores going out of business sales rock!!
