neither is weird, but the dog (especially a big one) licking me is not only slobbery and disgusting but it also cause me to break out from allergies. Even though I am also allergic to cats, I have never had a reaction to a cat's dry tongue.

Cats tongues feel weird from all those barbs. Dogs are more likely to lick so I'd say a cats lick feels weirder.
