I'm so glad that John Paul Jones didn't turn into a giant vagina like Robert Plant did.

Them Crooked Vultures have everyone salivating at the prospect of three of rock’s most talented and notable musicians combining forces to create mind-exploding fury. If it’s any indication, the band’s teasers of songs “Nobody Loves Me and Neither Do I” and “Scumbag Blues” are chock-full of Dave Grohl’s thunderous drums, Josh Homme’s macabre vocals and guitars, and John Paul Jones’ rock solid bass and backing keys.

Not sure, but they'll be playing in NYC on 10/15.

This should just be the new QotSA album. Why bother pretending that that band is anyone besides Homme and guests at this point? Well, at least that's what they were at their best.

QOTSA's had a pretty stable lineup for years now... Troy van Leeuwen's been with the band since Songs for the Deaf came out, and Joey Castillo's been the drummer since Dave went back to the Foos. I think Natasha (can't recall her last name) was the permanent keyboardist, but she passed from cancer in 2007. Of course, the material is pretty much all Homme.

That's kinda my point...the band has been kinda shitty since they "settled down." Go back to mixing it up.
