We all know Chicago is the Windy City, the City with the Broad Shoulders, the Hog Butcher to the World, Toddlin Town, Chi-Town, the Second City, the City with a lot of Nicknames.

But what is the all time best? Also, what State has the best nickname? Or city with a catchphrase.


I love The Big Easy. I immediately picture the French Quarter and creole and jazz.

Baltimore has Charm City, which has a nice irony to it.

Missouri is the best state nickname by far. The Show Me state sounds badass.

Even though its outdated, I always like the 'Trenton Makes, the World Takes' bridge motto:
