I REALLY hate sunlight. I burn easliy, but I even don't like too many lights on in the roon I may be in. I ALWAYS have my shades down. I mean, I'm not saying I'd like to hang out with these Vampire people. I DO go out in the day. I do work, and get along in society. But as where you probably love a sunny, warm day, my ideal day is dark cloud cover on a slightly windy, fall day. It's a little cold out, just enough for a coat, and the wind blows the smell of leaves around. And the cloud cover keeps it looking almost dusk all day. Is this strange of me too?? Please let me know how much of a fucking freak I am.

i concur.. i mean im pale for a reason.. i cant tan if i tried and wouldnt want to anyway... id rather a dreary day.. the sun hurts my eyes all the time.. its no fun

Wow, I thought I was the only one. My friends yell at me because I don't ever open the blinds in my apt. I couldn't agree more. I love the fall. Dark days when it looks like it going to rain but it doesnt and the cool crisp air...ahhh I love it. I dread the summer.

I too hate sunlight! I wear spf 25 year 'round. And Sheepy's right-- dusk and dawn are the best times of the day.

You may have a type of photophobia - not a fear of light but an aversion to it.

Some people, myself included, greatly prefer electrical light to sunlight. Sunlight is not quite anathema but a photophobe is more likely than not to function best at night.

Cool. Thanks for the feedback. Glad to see there's a few more pale people out there, sitting in a dark room too.
And I don't really think I fear light, I just prefer not to be in too much of it. I'll work outside all day in the sun if my job happens to be building a deck for example. But I do use that sunblock a lot.

And all fine ladies who are into dark, gloomy fall days get in touch with Death Metal Moe. HA! And I WILL be holding my breath.
