A guy running a dojo in VA has a mentally challenged man killed on video in 1984 and it gets leaked online this week.

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/8zQi0aT_o0g&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/8zQi0aT_o0g&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Here's a newscast covering the video.

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/wObjWdQBeA4&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/wObjWdQBeA4&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

As far as I know it hasn't been confirmed as a hoax or not.

This message board, www.bullshido.net/forums/showthread.php?t=88535&page=73 is basically the reason this is all being investigated and they have discovered the dojo master's name, address, and phone number and posted them all.

Looks pretty damn real to me.

It looks absolutely real. By real, I mean an emotionally disturbed person wandered into a dojo, and a bunch of wads sat there and watched him get his ass kicked very badly. It seems unlikely that the man was killed, as the douche who runs the dojo posted the video and made a statement(supposedly) describing the incident. It would be pretty dumb to post a video that implicates you as an accessory to murder and clearly shows your face and states the date of the incident.

Supposedly this is a quote from the instructor about the mentally challenged guy, but I have no idea where it originated.

'This dummy was in my shopping center while I was on a Bodyguard Job in Washington, DC. This guy was in the Pizza Hut eating pizza off the plates of others and the Pizza Hut Manager ran him out with a pistol. Later the very same day, police officers were called to remove him from a nearby pharmacy after having been caught reaching into customer's purses. A short time after that, he visited a Napa Auto Parts store next to my Karate Dojo and told the management he planned on teaching in that Dojo and that Jesus taught him.

'The Napa guys told him he was confused (their polite way of warning the man against such action), but not wanting to miss a show, they told the man they would close early just to watch and that he must not know the owner, which is nobody to play with.. Needless to say, the police pulled him out of the dumpster behind my Karate Dojo where he was neatly placed. Semper Fi to all my Marine brothers. The karate student in the white is also a Marine Sgt. and a brand new Black Belt. Never get stupid with a Marine, you could get jacked up and have your clock stopped.'"

When was it posted? Maybe the dojo owner isn't even alive anymore. It's been 25 years, after all. BTW... Though the guy was obviously no Karate expert, he did put the other guy on his ass once.

It looked like the victim had some martial arts training in the past. That, plus schizo-strength.

The owner is alive and apparently lives in California now. All his personal info has been leaked online and if you watch the second clip, a reporter shows up at his home but no one answers.

This is one of the few things posted here that actually made me angry. Fucking "tough" guys preying on a weak guy that didnt know what he was doing.

Ill tell you what though, for someone that was a marine sgt. and a black belt, he didnt look so fucking tough to me. The retarded guy was actually fucking him up for awhile with his television kung fu. Id love to see how this guy wouldve done with someone that could actually hold their own.

Fucking pussy.

Its fucked up when you stomp a guy out.
Period.
Used to happen a lot in the old neighborhood.
Its cowardly act unless your life or loved ones life is in danger.
And this karate guy was clearly in no danger.
No call for that kind of shit.

I'm surprised this story isn't bigger. Google News only has one article on it and it's from the same station as the second video clip that I posted.

From what I understand, the dojo master himself is the one who posted the video online first, that's where the quoted message was from. Apparently that original video was removed, but then other people saved it and posted it themselves so they could get this guy in trouble.

Maybe that mentally challenged guy didn't die, cause who would be stupid enough to post a video of it? Unless he figured the statute of limitations had expired and the fact that he wasn't the one in the video doing the beating.

Still a very disturbing video, regardless.

I don't see how anyone could survive that stomping without medical attention. Did you hear the way he is wheezing at the end?

Thats what it sounds like when you get knocked out. Its disturbing. The part where the asshole stomps on his neck 2-3 times could have been a death blow. So fucked up.

To be honest, the "karate expert/black belt" was outmatched. The poor mentally challenged guy only wanted to demonstrate moves (of which he was pretty impressive and fluid, especially compared to the asshole) and tried to stop the insane guy looking to impress his dojo pals multiple times. This guy walked into a den of scumbags and probably paid for it with his life. What an awful thing to see, it truly makes me sick.

According to the Washington Post, the mentally challenged man wasn't killed.

Chuck Feldbush, a retired Prince William police detective, was working a uniformed patrol beat in the Dumfries area in 1984 and said he knew Blythe and the victim. Feldbush, who could not remember the victim's name, said the man was a vagrant who lived in the woods near the dojo. The man occasionally was the target of a nuisance call, someone who would sometimes try to take food off people's plates at the Pizza Hut or steal just to get caught so he could spend some time in jail, where he would be guaranteed a roof and meals.

Feldbush saw the man in the days after the incident and noticed him limping.

"You could tell he had been beaten severely," Feldbush said. "He wasn't very cooperative and didn't want to pursue charges."

I'm glad I read these posts before watching the video, bc it made me not want to watch it.

Sounds real disturbing.

Btw- no statute of limitations on murder/manslaughter.

If it had happened today, he might have been appointed a mental health guardian, and charges would probably be filed on his behalf.

I'm not so sure I believe this Feldbush's claim that the man was alive after. I'm not saying he was killed, but he very well could have been involved in the mishandling of the case/murder if it did indeed happen back then.

This part/quote in the article surely pissed me off.
There was some egregious behavior on that video," Feldbush said, adding that he saw it for the first time in recent days. "And it has caused a fervor because of what people have been saying about it. You have an African American male beaten into the ground and he's allegedly murdered and the police did nothing. That's as far from the truth as you can imagine. They've weaved quite a tale here."

Personally, dead or not, the video does all the talking needed and rumors abound on it are anything but "far from the truth". Fuck this guy and all those in that dojo to say the least. If that poor guy wanted to, or had any desire to fight, I bet he would have kicked that guys ass too.

The truly fucked up thing is how quickly the dead/knocked out fellah gets dragged out. I just want to hear Brian Regan yell "get some leaves."
