David Letterman Sucks

Put Down The Kool Aid For 1 Second and think about this objectively. Why do we bother watching this guy? He is surly, morose, mean spirited, and not funny.

And i don't give 2 shits about the Palin incident. It's about Letterman and his downer attitude. Here is why I feel he should retire:

He doesn't put his guests in the best light. It's always about "Dave".

O'brien, Kimmel, Ferguson, and Leno are willing to riff comedically with whomever is on their show.

Letterman must be the "funny man", with the guest playing the straight man.

I get his humor but find it increasingly stale and tedious. He just looks like a tortured soul. Unhappy. Sad. What am i missing? I know it's cool to say he rules, but objetcively speaking, I believe he is a bore.

I like Letterman to a point, but I cannot stand when he constantly needs to repeat the same line over and over again throughout the show. It usually isn't funny the first time and it doesn't get funnier over time.

That and the Top 10 always sucks. Who sits there writing this crap and thinks it's funny?

subjective? yes. but in attempting to divorce myslef from any preconceived attitudes, or prejudices, the same thing, I don't see his humor. i really don't get his appeal.

he treats most of his guests with disdain.
