Ron? Ron would never say anything, so neither would I.
Fez? Known rat. I'd tell for sure so that I'd get 5 years rather than 10.
Dave? I'd have a dilemma with Dave. I think he'd want to stay quiet, but with a little pressure, and the desire to be with his family, he'd talk. So I would talk, too.
Opie? Hell yeah I'd tell them. And I'd be grateful for being kept in a separate cell.
Someone you barely know? I probably wouldn't be partners with someone I barely knew...so...n/a

This is game theory I do believe.

I think the answer is you always rat because each party separate from the other is looking how to lessen their sentence and own jail time. You cannot trust them and therefore you always rat to minimize your sentence.

basically, it's do you trust the other not to snitch. it works out best to do exactly what the other will do. only problem is if they act against their nature to try to match yours.

it's a flawed question. cops don't have the authority to make the deals.
