Have you ever been to a restaurant, been fine with what you ordered, then it arrives, and you start eating, and the food is nasty. I was recently at Dennys (I know, I know, but it was the only place open) and ordered an egg sandwich. Egg, bacon, cheese, and some kind of potato bread. I figured how could you screw up an egg sandwich. But they did, it was awful. Maybe it was their special brand of mayo they put on it, or maybe it was the bread. It sucked.
I was at another diner that I used to frequent quite a bit. The food was great. Until this one time recently I went in and ordered the chicken fried steak, which I usually ordered. This time however, the steak smelled like dog, and the brown gravy for the fries was terrible. And I am not a picky eater. I've been going to this place for years. How do you screw up brown gravy for chrissakes? I had to just walk away from this meal.
