Damn, I have not had stuffed peppers for years, and now I am dying for some. My mom used to make it with chop meat, rice, cheese and seasonings that were browned and stuffed into the peppers and then baked until the peppers were cooked with tomato sauce on top.
How do you make them? Can you make them with chopped turkey meat instead, or would it be too dry?
Share recipes and ideas.

Damn, I haven't had them in years either. I need to find my mom's recipe. Make sure you put something moist in with the turkey (onion maybe?).
All I know is my mom's secret ingredient was cambell's condensed tomato soup, not that that helps you.

I despised them as a kid because when my mom would make them the whole hosue would smell like peppers all day. Now that I'm older and don't mind peppers, I would probably enjoy them. Especially home made ones, not that stauffers shit.

Watch the way that old lady makes them. It looks gooood. I bet that smelled awesome as she cooked that sauce and roasted them. I remember when my mom made them, that the house was a sauna from the heat, but she made a lot of them and we had them for days afterward. They got better when reheated!

I make them a few ways, but one of my favorites is my grandmother's recipe.

For the stuffing:

Crushed Corn Flakes (sounds odd I know), an egg, a small can of pureed tomatoes or tomato sauce, salt, pepper, grated pecorino romano, garlic powder.

Stuff in cubanelle peppers and pan fry them in oil.

I always make extra stuffing and make little cakes to fry up.

I'm starvin'... I may make these tonight. They're a great starter or side dish.

I was at a BBQ this weekend, and they has roasted mini peppers stuffed with marscapone and herbs. Awesome.

I like to take little peppers. They are like the size of habaneros. And slice the tops off, stuff with goat cheese, sun dried tomatoes and rosemary. Bake them in the oven and drizzle with a balsamic reduction
