As Lawrence Phillips has? (http://www.10news.com/news/20362086/detail.html)

SAN DIEGO -- Former pro running back Lawrence Phillips was convicted Tuesday of choking his girlfriend on two occasions in San Diego in 2005, once into unconsciousness.

Phillips, 34, faces up to 25 years in prison when he is sentenced Sept. 8 by Judge Kerry Wells.

He was seriously one of the best running backs i've EVER seen, and he wasted it all. Its tragic in some respects, but it also enrages me, because there are so many guys out who don't have as much talent as Phillips, but they work hard and maximize every bit of it they can.

Who are some other athletes that come to mind as having completely wasted their talent? Along with Phillips, off the top of my head I can think of Derrick Coleman (just lazy and didn't care) and Jeff George

Maurice Clarett? You can't really say, because sometimes those superstar college running backs are NFL busts.

Isn't that right, Curtis Enis and Rashaam Salaam?

Go Bears.

Mandarich never had ANY talent...he put up insane numbers at the combine (being as he was on the juice at the time) and got everyone to buy into his hype.
