You must set the ad_network_ads.txt file to be writable (check file name as well).

Just bought a laptop off of ebay, it is locked no password.

Option 1. Get a trick to hack the password or reset it?

option 2. Reinstall windows. I have windows home XP, but it is installed on my CPU, if I was to install it on my laptop I think I would need to pay.


I would prefer to hack it or somehow reset the old password or find it out. Seller has no idea what the password is, they bought it in a lot of company computers.

You can use a Linux distro that runs from a live CD to hack the root directory which is a pain in the ass if you are not certain what you are looking for.

Or there are programs "out there" (can't mention here) that will hack the password via a live disk. Do a google search "lost windows password."

But be careful!
Some of these helpful souls are ruthless hackers. You could be inundated with spyware.
