Game's on ESPN. Pedro is back!

It'd be huge if the Phils post a couple runs for him before he takes the mound.

whats not right? He fuckin sucked balls, so they moved him to the pen. It happens all the time. Stop crying you old fuck

Moyer got 22 starts...what the hell else does he want? He has an ERA over 5, and the most losses on the team (yeah, he has the most wins, but that's by virtue of the Phils' offense).
Holy shit, Ryan Howard triple!!!
This game is already historic!

hadnt paid that much attention to the phils or moyers stats
if thats what hes been producing then fuck him
88-87-89 on the first three fastballs. About where he needs to be. If he can touch 90-91, he'll be extremely effective with his breaking stuff.

I just assumed the Cubs would lose this game since they were morons and were starting the shitty Samardzija over the capable Marshall. Samardzija has been horrible this year and I'll be stunned if he gives up fewer than 6 runs before he's pulled, or if he lasts past the 4th inning.

as much as I hate the Phillies and Philly, its funny to me to see pedro hit 92 and look good and K guys when he did nothing but steal money from the mets. LOVE PEDRO
92 and on the corner, on the fastball to strikeout Fox.
He showed his fastball, slider, and changeup in the first, and all looked good.

i disagree somewhat
if he and el duque didnt get hurt right before the playoffs i believe we could have gotten past the cardinals and faced the tigers that year, probably even won the world series
the other years he did ok but not his usual pedroness

Fuk hit a first pitch over the middle, and he made a bad pitch to Baker by throwing a down and in changeup.
A couple poor decisions on pitch selection.
Vic's already halfway to the cycle...has the two toughest parts, too.

That's usually why I argue, as well.
He's hung a couple pitches to Theriot and Bradley this inning, but Victorino made a nice recovery to catch that ball Bradley hit.
He's obviously a bit rusty, cause his selection hasn't been good, but I've been pretty impressed with his stuff compared to how he looked last year.
93 to strike out Fox again.
He definitely has his fastball back. This is the best his fastball's looked in a long time.

how pissed do you think Moyer is right now?
They should bring him in AFTER pedro just to really rub it in
Cubs fans are trash.
If that was in Philly, there'd be a three day "what horrible fans they are" expose on ESPN.
Yet, no one will say a word, yet you'd never see a Phils fan throw a cup of beer at a player during a play while he's trying to make a catch.

It was clearly just one fan being an asshole and it's something you almost never see. Philly fans have the reputation they do because outside of the repeated invidual incidents you have repeated occurances of huge parts of the crowd effectively acting like a violent, out of control mob or mobs.
Nothing funnier than a Philly fan trying to get self-righteous over another team's fanbase when you just had someone getting murdered due to a fight in the stadium bar during a game.
I'm not going to act like my team's fanbase doesn't have its share of scumbags since they all do and this one is VERY large so it's even more likely for them to show up, but come on, K.C.. The Philly reputation wasn't just made up out of nowhere.
