I used Game SHark, Codebreaker, Pro ActionReplay and Game Genie whenever I got annoyed with a game. Not cheating, just bending the rules.

I had a Game Genie for my SNES. That shit was great, if I ever got stuck I'd pull out the giant book of codes and have fun with it.

I also had a Game Shark for my PS2 that I got to work once. Though playing Final Fantasy X with maxed out characters from the very beginning was fun, I could never get it to work again.

Game Genie was the shit when I was 6. Loved it, helped me beat Zelda.

No not at all. I used to love using my Game Genie with my Super Scope 6 games, and destroying things.

I mainly played RPGs, and I played many multiple times for just seeing the story again. I would use game genie to breeze through but to get the story. Sorta like skipping ahead in a novel or book you've already read.

Umm, I did... and I got 100% without putting in a health or weapon cheat. Wouldn't have gotten any of the Achievements if I had cheated.

Edit* Wait Im lying. I beat GTA 3 and Vice City without them. For San Andreas and 4 I just went with the codes from the start.

i am a command and conquer junkie.
i love loading up the map with enemies on brutal, building up my army, and sending them to get pummeled, only then to send in my fleet of tanks to squash anything that moves.

its not about winning or losing or accomplishments. its about having fun doing something other than jacking.
