Today something amazing happened. The levee broke with the gvac fez call and a comedy pyramid was born remember those? Well for one day they returned. Silera got involved, Irish Alkey got in the mix and yes Death Metal Moe. Yes mr fez supporter himself, got on board Much credit to Ron for guiding the comedy brick laying process and Dave for snickering and jabbing Fez along the way. maybe this rag tag group of callers has finally arrived. Are more pyramids on the way or was this one rare treat?

It's great to see the return of the pyramid. couldn't have come at a better time. I thought the show was great today thanks to you and Gvac getting it started.
'Twas a grand and glorious feat indeed.
It felt like old times for awhile. Ron even got a few good chuckles out of the deal, especially from the one caller who said he tried to log into RonOpie.net but got redirected to MafiaPayDay.com.
Brilliant.
I can't wait for the next one.

I haven't heard it yet, but I have no doubt it was a fluke, a perfect storm of callers with possibly some grade A call screening. If in the future something that could be seen as the starting of a comedy pyramid would be a miracle because a hayseed would call in and ruin it.

What im trying to say was that the degree of difficulty was very very easy.
Like rookie on madden easy
Its a good place to start, but dont expect more

the problem with callers is that they don't seem to get news fast.
today like you said they already know about opie.
how many times do you hear an ichiban that is days even weeks old?
future pyramids need to be about perhaps sam or anthony.
if it strays from 202 then maybe a historic based pyramid.

I didnt think it sounded like a comedy pyramid really. Comedy pyramids tended to be one liners. Not a long drawn out explanation of your joke and a rebuttal from fez. There were some funny lines though.

Yup, Fez really sucked the fun out of what could have been a really funny afternoon.
Ron made the joke, the callers all went w/ it, and ESD was laughing...Fez then took the laughter personally. Really insane behavior

I just voted to be contrary.
I think today was fun to listen to and participate in but I can honestly say, any time I listen I enjoy the show. I don't get to listen too often though so maybe I don't spend a lot of time wishing for what isn't there and just kind of happy I got the afternoon off to laugh a bit.
Great calls today though- and I'm not tooting my own horn. I'm quite aware my calls suck balls cuz I'm a "friend of the show"...

Agreed lleeder- i thought it was reaaly fun. I just meant my vote didn't really matter because I have no real comparison.
The calls were really on point. I especially love when Ron laughs at a call. It doesn't happen often so it means he's enjoying the show.
