Tonight at 10 pm on Comedy Central.

Usually good for 10 laughs or so. I'll at least watch it til Entourage starts.

Do you find Mellisa Rivers batchable?

Maybe with a little girl-on-girl action with Kathy Griffin, the roast master?

This doesn't look promising but the best lines are usually from roasters directed at other roast guests.

I'll save you the trouble. Here will be the framework for 90% of the jokes.

She's old.

She drove her husband to suicide

She has shitty plastic surgery

Lather, rinse, repeat.

Not watching..Jokes about her daughter were OFF LIMITS apparently.
Shame, since she said she was about a year younger than me, which would have made her about 14 in college in 1985

That was cool but I don't think Fox got off one funny line.

People are laughing at the Oscar winner beacuase he's famous meanwhile the middler just didn't have the balls to strike back. hung himself.

God, his part was awful...the bits he did were so-so funny back in 2000 when he used to do it on O and A. But now it is just tired and very unfunny.

Giraldo and Ross so far are the only ones that know what they are doing. Of course a roast is the only time you see them anymore.

The best of those roasts was the Chevy Chase one, just because the "roasters" had all the affection for him that they showed Private Pyle in the sock party scene.

Why do they always put non comedians on these things? Robin is really making a fool out of herself.
Having said that, I thought Brad Garett kinda killed. Is he funny in real life? He didn't seem like a comedian up there so I don't think he's done stand up but he pulled off the jokes someone wrote for him pretty well.

Brad Garett is a stand up comedian. Ray Romano and him used to work clubs together and Ray gave him a break putting him on his sitcom.
I miss sitcoms. Most of the comedians doing these roasts would be great in an ensemble type sitcom.

That chick that's on Chelsea Lately was kinda funny toward the end.

I seem to remember them ragging on Melissa a bit, so I don't know who said she was off-limits.

Lucky Louie was a great sitcom.

Gilbert Goddfried killed again as usual.

He is consistently the best roaster imo.

The Robin Quivers molestation joke was hilarious.

Tom Arnold came on after Mario and thanked him for lowering the bar because he (Tom) didn't think he could follow Greg Giraldo.

Eh, I always thought that clip just made Jamie Foxx look like a douche who can't handle having someone joke about him. He's a SERIOUS guy now, people. How dare a young comedian make a jab at him.

Brad Garrett (I think it was him) had a funny line: Joan has fucked more old Jewish men than Bernie Madoff.

At the end of the roast when Joan gave her speech that she was going to stay and the flag dropped down, the flag was backwards. Nobody noticed that during rehearsals? Not even a stage hand?
