I was on drudge and clicked on this link. It's a TV spot for a personal care company. They use a super model and have her sing a traditional Swedish folk song. It did kind of bother me. Granted I'm running on no sleep for about two days so I'm sort of hallucinating.

There is something oddly creepy about this, that I can't quite define. It's like as soon as she's done singing, the Valkryes come to carry you off to Yggdrassil or something like that.
Maybe I need more sleep too.
(On edit) If I was going to make a cheesy Norse mythology reference, this is the one I should have gone with: "It sounds like a Valkryie singing a song to herald the coming of Ragnarok."
Love Norse Mythology. Not even the gods make it out alive.
When I was in Sweden 10 years ago I was shocked by the number of brunettes. The myth of the Swedish blond is just that.
Denmark is where it's at for gorgeous blondes.

It's some of the best mythology in my opinion.
And it is oddly creepy. It just makes me uncomfortable.

It's not as scary as this one -

Or hot!
But really, that's meant to scare you. The other one is to get you to buy their product. If the one you posted were trying to get me to do meth, then I would agree with you.

She looks like she'll coax you into her arms with a song and then swallow your soul!

I was more frightened by the old woman in the tub from The Shining.
