Have you ever been in a rock fight? As a kid there were a few times rocks got tossed back and forth. I guess it was dangerous but at the time it was just something that us kids liked to do.

Better than the actual rock fights though, was when we would tease the smallest Rao brother. We (including his two older brothers) would fuck with him until he'd go ballistic, start grabbing handfuls of pea sized gravel, and throw it at us while screaming (in tears) "I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU!"

When he was older, he was studying to be a stock broker. In a fit over something to do with an ex girlfriend with some other guy, he threw a brick through a restaurant window (jeopardizing any chance he would have to become a stock broker).

i got a scar on my head from a rock (it started as an ice fight but we ran out of ice) and a scar on my chest from a bb gun battle

I got kicked out of boy scout summer camp for having bb gun battles with the CO2 pistols. Those things left a nice welt.

Roman candles were a nice addition to any bottle rocket fight.

When I was in the 6th grade we moved a couple of towns over. One day a bunch of friends from the old neighborhood showed up out of the blue.

We were playing in the woods by my house when one of them decided to run off into the brush and start pelting us with pebbles and small rocks from his hiding place. I eventually got really pissed off because he wouldn't stop so I picked up a rock the size of a softball and threw it blindly into the brush.

Now, mind you I had no idea where he was but wouldn't you know it - a million to one shot - I nailed him right in the head.

We headed back to my house with him crying and blood streaming down his forehead and carrying on about how he and his father were going to sue me. As soon as my mom saw us coming up the street, caught sight of him and heard what he was saying she started screaming to get away from her house and never come back. That was the last day I ever saw that group of friends.

Single action Red Rider style BB Gun wars. No pump guns allowed. Only single layer pants could be worn. Upper body and head could be covered however you wanted. Played in the winter mostly. It was supposed to encourage players to keep their shots towards the legs where you could inflict more pain, but I've got a slight scar on my forehead and chipped a tooth in a battle once.

Tried to collect up enough fireworks for a 4th of July battle in the woods, but no one seemed to be able to have all their shit together at the same time.

We used to have muck fights in a pond nearby. Dive down, grab a handful of muck, form it into a ball and throw. The ability to dive underwater to evade a throw was added fun.

Rock fights and dirt fights, (we called them dirt clods). Also lived near a stand of fruit trees so apple fights were common as well, along with figs and plums. Plums were the best, they didn't really hurt but when they were soft you could get someone filthy with splattered plum muck. The little green apples hurt like hell though.

Was only once, i think. I had to be the loud mouth snot (at 8 yrs old) cuz stupid boys were throwing rocks at my friend, who had her arm in a cast. I just remember rolling down the hill, fighting one of the boys off, after i tried to kick him in the nuts and failed. Now that im reflecting, he may have just been trying to cop a feel. I remember once, taking a snowball and dipping it in water then putting it in the freezer. Then repeating the process until I had the perfect ice ball.
