I don't see it happening. I think Fez has just written Dave off and figures he's either going to use his hatred of Dave as motivation or just force Dave out.

I think you're right. I wonder if at this point Fez is secretly hoping Dave just leaves. If I was Dave, there is no better way than for Fez to attack my wife.

Fez was what made me a fan of the show in the first place and he was the reason I listened for years. I understood when he started going through a rough spot and wasn't as strong on the air. I was on his side until fairly recently. I remember how I thought Dave was being a bully when he pushed Fez's face in the pizza.

Fez's recent spouse attacking, however, has turned me against him. First calling CWC's wife Annie fat in a catty, cowardly, petty way was disappointing. Now this Casey hating crap has just been ridiculous.

I know I am running the risk of being a rube and maybe this is all a bit leading up to Dave leaving for greener pastures in Atlanta.

Casey seems hurt by it all, though, so I doubt it is a bit. and it gets worse and worse. Fez just gets more and more disappointing. Dave told Fez how he doesn't like him attacking Casey. Fez couldn't acknowledge that he is in the least bit wrong. Come on Fez, be an adult. He is so obsessed with his own sensitivities that he can't see from other people's perspectives.

I am amazed he is in therapy. I think his therapist's certification needs to be revoked if she is feeding this narcissistic childishness in Fez. She should be encouraging him to learn how to take responsibility for his actions and be a man. Sometimes I think he is such a big child that he must be a character and none of this is real.

Fez has demonstrated a remarkable ability to hold fast to his opinions despite all facts, figures, and logic against him.

Take, for example, the discussion about deer hunting a few weeks back. Fez wanted to ban hunting and transport deer from overpopulated areas to rural areas like Montana. Ron and callers pointed out innumerable reasons why that idea was impractical and actually environmentally harmful, yet Fez continued to hammer redundatly upon his point, based purely on his emotional biases, and refused to acknowledge any arguments against his position.

Fez is 100% convinced that Dave and Casey are acting with ambitious malice, in loose league with MLC, Sheepy, and others. He does not trust them, he hates them with a seething anger, and he is convinced that they hate him. He is a closed book on this issue. There is nothing that Dave could say in a sit-down that would in any way change Fez's thoughts on this issue.

I kinda feel that maybe fez is jealous of dave.
Dave 1/2 retarded has a wife, 2 kids and a life.

Fez in his mid 80's doesn't have anything outside of the show.
He doesn't know who he is, what he is nor how he should be.

Or this could be just some dumb bit as the show knows the boards and fans eat this type of shit up and keeps the show running with a "behind the scenes" feel.

theres no way this is a bit. fez, dave and casey are not that good of actors and i dont think anyone on the show would be brilliant enought to pull this off.. let alone plan it....

im so tired of fez. if dave leaves the show, i will stop listening to ron and fez and just listen to rbi and unmasked. i just cant support fez anymore. and id rather listen to ron have intelligent and meaningful conversation and discussion with worthwhile people than listen him try to drag a cranky mean self centered piece of shit out of his shell to discuss his own meaningless problems and ignore all the good advice hes given....

Fez's paranoia in the context of his work environment is rational.

finally heard yesterday's show via audible. because fez is so delusional, i doubt a sitdown would immediately solve the problem. but if a mediating session was overseen by someone in hr, i do think a sitdown would provide dave protection from a hostile superior.

i wonder where fez would project his self hatred if dave left?

by the way fez, dave didn't conspire to have me type this.

I selfishly don't want it to stop regardless of whether it's 100% legitmate or fueled by a mutual wink-wink understanding between the two that a contrived escalation of conflict will make for compelling theater. It's hilarious to me whenever they get into it and the venom starts flowing back and forth. I admit most of the time it's a mismatch though since Fez has the upper hand with his stand-up background and catty disposition, not to mention his stature above Dave on the hierarchy of command.

Fez's paranoia in the context of his work environment is rational.

It's really just two paranoid people competing for time, Fez has put in more time and thus should at least get the benefit of the doubt. Is Fez acting irrationally? Yes, but even Ron points out to Dave from time to time that it's the Ron & Fez show not the Ron & Dave show. If Fez were more eloquent he could just point out that Dave's performance has suffered since little Stanley joined the family, but this has been more entertaining.

People are jumping on Fez for attacking Casey, but what about Dave attacking other people's wives? If Dave doesn't want Fez doing it, maybe he should heed his own advice and not do it himself.

The show will run much smoother once fez grows some balls and forces dave out of the studio so he can get daves's daily lies off the air.

Oh and for you thinking dave has been doing fez's job, he has been keeping a chair warm while an actually funny man with talent gets his shit together, fez is in no danger of losing his job to someone like dave.

With an IP address you can pretty much sorta pin point where a person is located

Like my IP address

[EDITED OUT] IP address location & more:
My IP address [?]: [EDITED OUT] [Whois] [Reverse IP]

My IP address city: Catonsville
My IP postcode: 21228

I bought XM because of the Ron & Fez show. I have kept XM because of the Ron & Fez show. I now find it a burden to listen to the show and I may cancel the subscription....I used to look forward to buddays, now, not so much.

It's obviously the Ron Bennington show now, which would be fine, except for the dead weight Ron has to drag around every day. Ron is easily capable of 4 hours of quality entertainment a day. If Ron stops talking for 30 seconds, the whole show goes into a stammering, stuttering tailspin.

I get the fact that Ron is fiercely loyal to Fez, but the time has come for Fez to step aside. Ron never fires anyone, he just makes their life miserable until they quit. So, Ron isn’t going to “fire” Fez (I know they’re partners, but Ron is in control of the situation), Fez will have to be the one to leave. I know it probably won’t happen, which is why I may just stop listening.

One last thing, if Ron were just starting a new show and didn’t know Fez, would Ron want the current Fez Whatley as a partner, a producer or even an intern?

Holy crap. I think Ron read this before today's show. He's left 3 times already and the show has crashed each time

Remember, there's a lot more to doing a radio show than just being on mic. Fez handles the producers, the interns, show prep, bookings, promotions, and the suits. He makes things run smoothly off air so that Ron can show up at 10:55 and leave at 3:05. Fez was correct when he stated the other day that he's earned every bit of his career.

He's as nutty as a fruit cake, but he's still extremely valuable as a business partner to Ron.

That's OK, I've bought two new radios lately because the show is better than ever.

Go enjoy Bubba the Love Sponge. You don't matter.

I didn't read all the threads, I apologize if this is repetive. I have only listened to the show for just over a year, in case it shows in my post.

This has to be a bit. There's no way that Ronnie is going to support ESD if Fez is that pissed. Also, ESD is not stupid enough to push it that far. ESD does give to the show, but I'm not sure if his contribution would affect the show either way (I miss the drinking shows).

We need a "Fuck you Ron" bit. Possibly weekly, or biweekly where Fez tells Ron where "he" believes he fucked up. I like to hear Ronnie laugh, and he seems to laugh the most when Fez snaps. That could make for RGold.

I just read this back and I apparently like to throw up the quotes """.

I've had too many beer.

I miss, hyponitist shows, drinking shows, the real O & A shows, black earl, and AFRO (even though I've never heard one.)

Make up you stupid pricks

The Jonah Bobo interview illustrates everything Fez brings to the show.

At least it provides fodder for Ron and the callers.

The kid is on a trip around the country to see baseball games. He obviously loves baseball and is having the time of his life seeing every stadium. dream come true for kids that like baseball.

so, Fez asks him questions about what has gone wrong during the trip. He ends up yelling at the kid because he thinks he is boring. Jonah obviously would have been more entertaining if Fez had asked about what he has loved about the trip rather than what went wrong.

Ive been listening to them since they joined satellite radio and have seen a major change in fez as of recently. If it is a bit, it is briliant, if not ?, then fez has just turned into a paranoid schizophrenic piece of shit. He is absolutly 100% paranoid of ESD replacing him. It is really sad to see him self destruct like this.
