My boss cant cook. here is the latest story:

He showed me an event flyer(fundraiser motorcycle gathering) showing that they will be having burgers and what not.

He says he is the grill person for that day. Its a diabetes fund raiser. on the 22nd

Then he proceeds to tell me that at home he cooks burgers(nevermind making them with a "patty press") and they turn out really dry.

He says he cooks them until he cuts them open and there are no juices coming out anymore.

HE THEN askes me what VEGETABLE to put him them to keep them moist.

I told him it sounds like you could use hay to keep it more moist then the burgers you already cook,

then i said or you can use all-purpose flour which he replied "What would that do?"

i cant stand this!

i might tell him do like mcdonalds. shred up some newspaper, much it water and put it in the burgers so it retains the water.

Better be careful, or you'll end up being volunteered to do the cooking. Unless that's what you want, then disregard.

It's not what I enjoy, but I'm seriously getting sick of this whole 'only us pure men of the ron & fez universe know how to grill meat' who gives a shit if somebody else likes a burger or steak well done? I'm not eating, doesn't factor in to my life for even a second.

I do! If I spend my hard earned money to buy delicious steaks and burgers and then have to grill all the flavor right out of them and make them dry mounds of crap because my guest wants it that way it upsets me. And if I'm a guest somewhere and I have to eat that I'd rather not eat it and just have sides. IT'S MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY!

What's delicious to you isn't delicious to somebody else. They're eating it so what's the difference? It's not like the food is going to waste

I don't think he likes them well done, but rather can't figure out how to cook them any other way.

I think you should bring a grill into work one day Mexi and SHOW him how to cook a burger. You know as well as me....even a well done buger doesn't have to be dry and bricket like.

Bring in the grill with some burger fixins' for the crew. Act like it's something you want to do for your work friends. Then hand him a mid-well burger that tastes good.

He'll want to know who you did it....and THEN he will listen to you.

Remember to ask RHino to send you some Duffy's sauce. That sauce is good!!
