I just can't believe Fez has taken this just baseless hatred for Dave and Casey as far as he has. He sees conspiracies everywhere and thinks everyone is against him. Sorry Fez, but you've gone off the deep end with it.

Seriously. What man attacks a woman in that way CONSTANTLY over any extended period of time? I mean a guy will maybe call someones chick out for being a bitch or for whoring around on him but to go to the extent that Fez does on basically a daily basis is so catty it's a lot more feminine and makes him sound like a slighted woman.

I dont understand Fez at all. I wrote a lot about this on the listening thread, but basically he was mad at Dave for living far away...I think.
The bizzare heel turn has been really tough to listen to, and the personal attacks on casey just dont make sense to me on any level.
I used to love the show, but now I feel like im just listening out of habit, Fez infurates me daily and not in a good way...its really just sad

I couldn't agree more, Meatball. That caller Gary got lambasted today (for good reason), but I think he did have an interesting point. I find all of the FFB, MLC, FBP, G-Vac, Lleeder on air stuff to be too much. None of them bring any substance to the show, and they've all been on non-stop lately. I understand they are "friends" to the show for the most part, but it is way tooo inside. Give me good interviews, relevant topics, and some Board Gossip evry now and then. That's what I loved about the show in the first place!

These threads are not going to go over well tomorrow...
I stated what I stated in the other thread in reply to some people blindly giving loyalty to Fez without having heard what happened. Having stated that, I think giving support to one side or another is wrong.
Why are we turning this issue into the Mason-Dixon line of RF.net?? Ok, everyone has their opinions about what happened on the show today including myself (I felt Fez was wrong.) But I am not prepared to go "I support ____________." That is fostering this division and cess pool of negativity that is becoming pervasive throughout RonFez.net and gives this board an unwarranted bad reputation.
So lets try and move on from today's show and let the parties involved settle it in their own manner, and not try and exacerbate the issues by creating "I support Fez/Dave threads."

Fez appreciated the recommendation when he went to four winds.
I can't believe what has come of this. Fez needs to realize it is not all about him. You can hear Dave is starting to get frustrated with it. He was just going with it for a while, but I think teh Casey bashing is getting him him.
Dave did nothing wrong inviting him over to his house this weekend. If he didn't, fez would be crying he was not invited.
Like it was said today, fez is borderline paranoid schizophrenic. He thinks everything is about him.

It's just any and every reason.
Poor Dave I listen to him trying to talk to Fez, Fez is just a closed door. He doesn't want to even try and come to any sort of resolution to this. He yells at Dave for laughing... WHAT DO YOU WANT DAVE TO DO? Dave is a nervous wreck over it you can tell by the laughing. He's at a loss over the situation and quite honestly I am too.
This isn't the planet Fez. Life and existence doesn't revolve around any singular person and it certainly doesn't around Fez Whatley. How much cash has he dropped on therapy and he still doesn't even grasp this very basic understanding of life?

Thanks buddy and Im w/ you to a point about the inside stuff. Part of the draw for me w/ the original WNEW shows was that it really did seem like a bunch of extended friends hanging out/having fun. Now that you have Fez's mental problems and other friends having problems w/ each other, the entire tone becomes negative and really just bizzare.

If the defense is "hey dont laugh at this guy, hes paranoid" - obviously that puts dave in the impossible position of not being able to say "tell this paranoid guy to stop yelling at me and my wife"

I think Fez should move on and retire.
I used to like Fez, but he's losing me these days. When he was maligning Dave for having a second child he hit rock bottom in my opinion. The man has no understanding of the complexity of life--he's lived a sheltered existence with no real "adult" experiences. There are times when the old Fez shines through, but now the angry "crank" persona is eclipsing my view of him.
Fez comes across as a paranoid, immature, angry old queen. He doesn't carry anywhere close to 50% of the show even though his name is in the title of the show. He doesn't do interviews, he has to be dragged into conversations--he's basically a work shirker and forces Ron and Dave pick up the slack on-air. We've all heard the times that Ron leaves the room and Fez has to be on-air alone. He rambles, gets nervous, and can't handle it. Radio is his job and he can't perform his job.
Fez, Dave is not the reason people don't like the new you. YOU are the reason.

I don't think EITHER ONE OF THEM should be off the show. That's not really the issue here. If Dave wasn't there Fez would still have these issues. Would the manifest themselves the same way? Who knows. But Fez is looking at Dave as as the focal point of his problems when he should be looking at himself.

I mean... FEZ HAS NEVER EVEN TAKEN A REAL VACATION HAS HE? Does he always go back to his parent's house in Florida every vacation? Either that or stay in the city? So really he's not even giving himself a break from everything he claims causes the his problems. He really doesn't have any mentally healthy aspects in his life. He lives alone, he runs back to his childhood home every vacation, he rarely if ever leaves his home for any reason other than work, he declines all invitations to interact with other human beings... Is it any wonder why he's in the state he's in? And he just uses Dave as a punching bag to outlet his mental frustration for his own inadequacies.

The most annoying part was that regardless of when the text or invite was sent, Fez wasn't going anywhere. Dave is in a position where he can't win and I wanted Ron to point that out. If he didn't invite Fez that would have replaced the word text in today's spat. Also the attacks on Casey are baseless and comes across as a bitch move. I don't know the woman but regardless of the general concensus of her I don't even see how she was entered into the story today.
For a second Dave's voice was rising and I was waiting for him to lay some hurt on Fez, but he caught his tongue. He is in the worst place that he can be right now.
David McDonald is hurting.

listening to fez and ron on air I can't imagine what part of fez that ron was attracted to that made them a duo.
I swear if I hadn't been listening during the wnew days I wouldn't be able to believe that these two were ever friends.

Love Fez and Dave both. I relate to Fez's anxiety and craziness, and he's never overly cheerful. Dave is great, because he makes me laugh, and he doesn't take anything too seriously. Fez is the dark, Dave is the light. Like the yin yang . . . both are important.

I haven't been able to listen to today's show yet, but I have been able to listen to some of the shows from the past week or so. The Fez of today is definitely not the Fez I started listening to over 3 years ago.
Dave has been funny and really seems to enjoy being on the air. I remember ESD being on the RAT years ago and he was funny then too.
I am fully expecting Dave to explode on Fez soon if he keeps this up. If Fez was saying things about my wife and upsetting her the way that he upset Casey, he would have caught a LOT more than just an earful.

so, this has always been Mikeyboy's plan? Fez was right. Dave, Casey, Mikeyboy, his mom, MikeyD (clearly you can never trust a Mikey), Big A, Billy Staples, MLC, etc. have all been conspiring to drive him insane. Now that they are so close to their goal, their plan is obvious.

Fez had great shows last week but if his power only comes from baselessly riding Dave then I rather do without. Fez can either cry about being invited to stuff or not being invited. Not both. If Fez wants a party on his own terms, he can throw it himself.:wallbash:

If this is a bit, it is almost worse. I'd hate to hear Ron, Fez, Dave in a show prep meeting agree that Fez pretending to hate Dave would be radio gold. The problem isn't whether this is real or not but that angry Fez hating Dave, Cave, Lleeder, his cat, women, whoever just is getting old and was never entertaining.

Not for me. When I sense that his claws are about to come out my ears perk up. I'm frankly for anything that keeps him in the conversational flow, even when he's rehashing his tired stances on GLBT equality or dwelling on his mental insecurities. The show is that much better when he's worked up into a lather on something.
