Everyone posting on this message board has either a computer or a smartphone; many have both. We all have internet access. We all have a roof over our heads. We are all well fed. Each and every one of us has indoor plumbing and the means to keep ourselves cool in the summer and warm in the winter. We have televisions and even enough money to pay for satellite radio.

Most of these things are incomprehensible to a majority of the people living on the planet with us, yet we still complain about the difficulties in our lives and how unfair the world has been to us.

We live so firmly entrenched in the world of man that we never even think of venturing out into the other worlds that exist all around us.

It's a wasted life if we don't.

Regardless of what you may believe or think you know, each and every one of us does indeed have a greater purpose than pleasing ourselves. It's an obligation we should not be taking lightly.

I just wanted to put this out there so I can look at it from time to time when I get bogged down with the nonsense the world of man distracts us with and remind myself that it's just that - nonsense.

doesn't the fact that we do complain about the difficulties in our lives (even though they are minor in comparison to the problems of others) provide us with the ambition to improve the things around us?

Someone's been listening to Louis C. K.

Actually, no.

Does Louis C.K. expatiate on similar thoughts?

Mine were prompted by studying and meditating on Native American spirituality.

Does the fact that Gvac used a different board name make the message any less relevant?

Every time I go to Mexico I support the Mayan decedents because they are looked at as a lower class than if you are Mexican (Spanish decent).

Other than that, the African starving people and those like them, that is the fault of colonization so please make certain to lay blame on Europe.
