okay, i've come to the conclusion i need to read more real book, not just comics and graphic novels. i just finished fight club, and i read world war z a few months back.
name me some books the are really good, but not like stephen king, or some over hyped
guys like that. i think i'm going read american psycho next always heard lil jimmy say it's a great read. help a honky out wif some ideas.

1984. Luckily, I didn't have to read this in high school, so I really enjoyed it. It's creepy to think how close we are getting to "Big Brother" sometimes.

i tried reading it many,many years ago, i couldn't get it at the time, but i may give it another shot.

I actually listened to it on cd. Sometimes, if I can't get into a book but want to know about it (usually a classic), I get a copy of it on cd from the library. I listened to Atlas Shrugged that way too. Both good, but hard to read.

Check out Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. Great book, and probably right up your alley based on what you said you've read.
