Well she-yoot, I been a Southern Rock fan since I was knee high to a grasshopper! My junior high wardrobe consisted almost entirely of Lynyrd Skynyrd T-shirts and belt buckles of the Confederate flag. I still get a charge out of those bands to this day.
Me like Fat Guy

Wait a minute...does Kid Rock count as Southern Rock? If so, an even bigger NO!

Sadly, where I live southern rock is just too damned popular. I mean, shit, Molly Hatchet is still big in these parts.
Still, at every concert I go to I like to yell "Play 'Free Bird'", just to be different.

I saw 38 Special, twice, in the early 80's at the Orange County (NY) Speedway. I still have and play their CDs regularly. Night Ranger was the opener for one of the shows.
How's that, mullet-head?!

I almost stayed in Ithaca 3 extra days this week for the slight chance of getting tickets to a Govt. Mule concert. The first time I saw them, it was musically the finest concert i had ever seen.

I wish I could have seen them when Allen Woody was still alive. Warren Haynes is a great guitarist I wouldn't mind seeing again.
