It must hard to venture to the comedy well everyday and have to haul back alone a load of entertainment to a thirsty village of listeners. At one time he could count on help from others to help with his burden but some are now crippled and others are not capable to even find the well.Yes...he must be getting weary...

I get the impression Ron has never been happier on the air. I think all his on-air frustration with Fez and Dave is a bit.

Oh Ron may be weary
Ron Bennington he do get wearied
That show is that same old shabby mess
But when Ron gets weary
Try a little tenderness

Verbally, Ron isn't as strong as he used to be. He messes up his words a lot more than he used to. Perhaps his age is starting to show.

Hey, Shark. One of these days you'll learn the difference between a comma and an apostrophe.

I hate people who get the words wrong. It ain't "wooly" it's "weary", and nobody's got stress, it's the show is a shabby mess.

It must be tiresome to joyfully offer the fruits of his labor to everyone, everyday when those surrounding him are unfortunately able to help moderately or those who would take the the opportunity to bathe themselves selfishly. His ever searching eyes looking for someone to help with the heavy load only to see that he must walk the path once more alone.

Ron & Fez also used to have The Best Callers in Radio. now, most of the callers add nothing comedic to the show. instead, it's jackoffs who call in to take hit & run shots at Fez thinking (i would assume) that they're being funny. they're not. they stink.

they gave up on comedy pyramids years ago, cuz the rubes that were calling couldn't build an out house, never mind a pyramid. :wallbash:

the nights must be long and restless for his obligations are for ever on his mind. When sleep does come it must be filled with details and solutions for the next trip which must be made when he awakes. But , HARK my friends, for morning brings a new day and new beginnings. The Sun shall warm our joke haulers bones once more giving him the strength for another trip to the well.Perhaps tomorrow he will receive the help he crys out for.For all he can hear now are the calls for water from the thirsty village up on the hill.Yes, he must be weary...

Right after that he'll probably start to things that happened in movies actually happened to him.

Or is it his ultimate goal , to leave all others behind him.

The uncomfortable silence has become my favorite part of the show.
That and the complete ignore into next topic transition.

if I were Ron.I get me a mule (Billy Staples Lilly)who could be controlled and make them haul the comedy water to the village. You could easily use them and then mussle them.

Since Mikeyboy beat everybody to the Otis Redding reference, it looks like I have to go farther afield for this bit.

Everything R&F have done since the move to WJFK has been a performance art reimagination of Ingmar Bergman's Scenes From A Marriage recast as a radio team breaking up. The people grow in different directions (or rather one keeps growing and the other gets lost in a corn maze that he's grown in his mind); both remember the good times and the strong bonds that were formed but one realizes that's in the past and cannot be recaptured and slowly tries to pull away, etc.... It's all there, man. Think about it.

Or maybe I'm just having an odd reaction to the meds I got today. :innocent:

I dunno.
I think Ron's never been stronger.

I agree that he stumbles on words sometimes, but I think that's because he's got too many joke options and he decides at the last minute what to go for.

It's good that he's coming off as more flawed. The superman thing he had going for a while was unsustainable.

He is to blame for his situation. I guess he enjoys having the mic to himself.

Well I am certain that Ron is weary.
Fez is constantly negative and repeats the same things over and over without adding anything new to the show.
Ron should have his own actors studio type of interview show on cable by now.
I am weary of fez bringing up the same points over and over.
The good thing is ron has bills to pay and kids take all out money so I am happy that ron won't retire today..so today is a good day because I get a new ron and fez show today.

people call in with those attacks because early on the show supported those calls. no one to blame but themselves. (calling in to win a prize when fez cried, etc.)

Exactly.
Plus you have ESD who is a producer attacking Fez. Plus a lot of new listeners who know nothing other than this dynamic. Fez the butt of the jokes.

All fez would have to do is actually answer a caller truthfully when that ask what come tastes like. Then tha old gag could go away and we could all be proud of fez for standing up for himself

It's very easy when he's right out front with it.If you've had lack of sleep it gets to you ,and you get minor slips in focus or a word mis-spoken.That's something he's battled for the 10 year range I'm thinking, maybe mO. That's CRAZY TALK. http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a65/j3lehane/thFireTornadoafternoon-kitty-random.jpg the only thing he hasn't tried yet is PHONE SEX with Stalker Patti...and I tell ya...................:drunk: ya want some REM sleep mister B?

Is this a fucking trick question or something?

All Ronnie B needs is a hit of Diprivan every now and then. Doesnt make him a bad person.

There are definitely some sublime moments to the show that have this feel, but I sincerely think Fez needs to get back into life. After listening to the Best of compilations while they were off, you could definitely hear an happier inflection in Fez's voice before.

I blame WJFK. I think they were doing experiements on Fez while he was down there. Maybe a 'Pinky and the Brain' type thing, thus explaining why Ron takes over the world...

Heh heh, meds are cool.
