Tuesday, we heard that America's favorite candy is M&Ms. I love them, but are they your favorite?

We should convene a study to find out not how many packages but rather how any individual m&m's have been consumed.

My first instinct was definately Snickers too, but M&M isn't unbelievable.
I'm a malo cup or twix guy.

i dont think anything touches a PB Cup. I am a bigger fan of the chocolate candy than the fruity/sugary candy, but on that side of the spectrum i have to admit that i am a fan of the mixture between gummy and sour

the only reason why a reese's cup didnt win has gotta be b/c of how many people are allergic to peanuts
if peanut allergy didn't exist, the reese's cup has to be number 1

i love m&m's. plain, peanut, or peanut butter. all delicious.
plain m&m's are my topping of choice for soft serve too.
I got a plain M&M addiction. They're my favorite.
Other greats: Take 5, 5th Avenue, Peanut Butter Twix, Reeses PB Cups.

Cadbury Flake is amazing... Have you had the Cadbury Twirl? They're the Cadbury Flake covered in more chocolate.

Your incredible lack of taste in all things food related is no joking matter.
It's sad really.
It's more of a mood thing for me. Sometimes I'll crave M&Ms, sometimes Reese's PB cups, sometimes a Kit Kat and sometimes these:

Once in awhile I do enjoy a good Chunky.

5:25 a.m.?
Sometimes I'd watch my kids when they were sleeping, and see them smiling. I used to tell my ex that "they must be dreaming about candy", because they'd have this contented, smiling, "mmmmmm" face, and I wondered if they'd wake up thinking about candy the next morning.
I guess some kids never grow up.

I don't trust that answer. Do they include all M&M's or just plain?
I would go with a Snickers. M&M's are good when you are worried about melting, but otherwise a snickers is the best.

The true test is, if you're driving down the road with someone you dont know well (and thus, don't know their taste) and you stop at a gas station and they ask you to get them some candy, what are you bringing them? I say Snickers. Even if it's not your favorite, I see it as America's candy.

each "part" is wonderful
how could you go wrong?
i eat it part by part
first the chocolate off the sides and top
then the peanut/caramel layer
and then the best for last...
the nougat all by itself
(actually, with the bottom
chocolate to hold it in place)

Thanks for that! I had my "first" in Hyde Park and loved it so much, I went to Woolworth's and shipped home two boxes of 48 Flakes. Kept them in the freezer. Ate them for years until we got SO tired of them that we didn't touch another one until last year at Disney World - they sell them in Epcot in the England shop. Didn't taste as good, but it was probably stale.
Remember when Mooch tried to tell Ron that English candy was better?
Favorite American is the classic Hershey Bar, followed closely by a 3 Musketeers.

nothing like toffey and chocolate
Since no one is saying that I'd have to limit myself to one type of M&M, I will choose them. (I'll have to look for the coconut ones!)
Reeses Cups and Snickers might also be at the top of my list depending on my mood. Especially if the Snickers is chilled (not frozen solid)

you beat me to the punch with this one, these little fuckers are amazing. im generally a cold chocolate guy, but these might be the first ones i prefer warm/room temp. ive had them frozen with some vanilla ice cream, and it was great, but they are at there best, on there own, at room temp. taste like a mini mounds.

too many awesome candies out there
I would have to make graphs and categorize before even getting close to a favorite
this could take weeks or months
a short answer would be a Reesey Cup, but that would insult Dark Chocolate and Sweedish Fish, too much work involved
M&Ms are good, they dont suck, but favorite, I think not
my favorite
