Will Madden 10 be worth my money?

I've been playing Madden since 1994. Last year was the first time I purchased it for the next gen console PS3; it was a heaping hunk of dogshit and thus the first time I ever sold it. The graphics where nice in some aspects but the lighting was horrible and there was no progression of light during games played in the afternoon. The cpu was uncanny in its abilty to figure my next move and to intercept a pass it wasn't even looking at nor even near. The running game was next to impossible and the animations looked real choppy. Unlike MLB THE SHOW 09, greatest sim sports game i've ever played, the players in Madden 09 didn't have any signature moves, LT ran like Reggie Bush and teams didnt follow a system, they all played the same kind of offense and D. Madden 10 is bragging about Pro-Tak and having to fight for position with gang tackling now. Is it more Madden Hype Machine or is this game worth giving a try because last years verison was such doggrel it made me loath the franchise?

I wonder if they will put this version out for PC. Last version they did not. If they don't then fuck'em. I just hope another company would put out a different football game for PC.

Good point however, this would be a belated b-day gift, I just don't want my cousin getting me a game i have no idea if i'd like. Should have mentioned it as a gift though then me spending my own fat stack good point again thegamehhh.

John if you love the franchise than go for it . madden has always brought enjoyment (and aggravation) to me. my problem with the game was the amount of glitches that were in the game. I hope that they resolve these issues for madden 10,that and the defensive backs would never stay on the WR if the quater back had enouugh time it would burn you for 40 yards or a TD.
