For it to be old school the vid has to be made before 1994. This it it for me the first time I saw this vid was on Yo MTV Raps, and open me up for the love of all music.

early hip hop like that was so silly to me. while i loved the era that i posted, just a few short years earlier, i find it to be so hokey....the message, rappers delight etc. the symphony had a good beat at least.
krs one and mc shan were great. but the rest i can pass on.

i almost equate it to disco.

Comcast in my neighborhood has NYC TV, which I gather is a city-run local access type channel. Every Saturday night at 11 they have a show called "The Bridge", on which they play an hour of these old-school videos. The host's name escapes me, but I know he was the host of Video Music Box. It's a great show, catch it or DVR it if you can.
