I bet this gets merged, but its not the same thing as the other NASA or Moon threads.
This thread is about if you remember something from 40 years ago or not, or how far back, in years, you remember something. I am 44 years old. I imagine there are many of you not burn until the 80's or so, so whatever.
I remember seeing it live, and blurry, Neil Armstrong coming down the ladder and stepping on the Moon. I think it was because everyone in the house was crowded around the TV in 1969 and we had relatives over and it was almost a New Years Eve type of atmosphere, waiting for the ball to drop that it stuck in my 4 year old head. It is actually one of my earliest recollected memories. Another, older memory I have was being even smaller than that and I climbed up from the toilet onto the sink and opened the medicine cabinet and I saw a razor blade. Back then men used them in their safety razors and my father had them in the cabinet. I grabbed it, not knowing what it was or that it was harp and I gripped it in my hand and made a fist, and I heard a crunch and opened my hand and saw blood shooting out. I panicked and slipped and fell and my crotch hit the edge of the sink and I landed, screaming in my back on the cold bathroom floor. My mother came running in screaming at the blood. It burned in my memory, and I must have been 3 years old.
Whats your earliest memory?
