So, I'm running out of space on my 360. I really don't want to spend $140 on a stupid hard drive. I found this:

It says you can upgrade w/ a $50 hard drive. Anyone done this? Wondering how difficult it really is to do.

I did it for my xbox, its not that hard if you have a memory card to copy your game saves to it and then back to the HDD or a transfer cable.

That was my next question... my game saves are well over the limit of one of those 512MB memory cards... how easy is it to transfer the saves to a new HDD?

I was thinking about doing this myself. I don't have a memory card though. My HDD on the 360 has bad sectors and already have two spare laptop drives sitting around. Do you really need the memory card?

Missy, you can clone HDs for your Xbox using your desktop computer or a USB enclosure. If you do not know how to do this let me know and I'll walk you through it.
