Has anyone attempted to watch this DSC movie?
In Kodiak, Alaska, the crew of the St. Christopher prepares to go fishing and sets sail into the face of an oncoming arctic storm. This movie is a thrilling tale of struggle and survival in the fierce open sea.
I don't expect much from a DSC movie but holy shit this is the most awful thing I've ever watched and I'm only an hour in. How this made it to TV is beyond me

I'm watching it now.
The dialog, and acting, are both awful...
But I must keep watching...

I like how every 10 minutes they must coincidentally bring up a conversation that involves teaching the "viewer" about boats. Survival suites, cold water, waves. The best was when the dudes in the water and they stop for a second to ask/answer the question "how long can he survive out there".

I think I heard "that's the least of our problems" twice in ten minutes...

So.. The whole point of this movie was... To show a boat in a storm.
Essentially this was discovery channels way of constantly showing showers of water coming from the sky down on the boat for 2hrs.
I like the Coastguard in full SpyTech like uniforms all hanging out in a stereotypical dark room with barely any lighting and computer software no one actually uses.

WHY THE FUCK IS THERE A PREGNANT WOMAN ON THIS BOAT?
This is the dumbest fucking thing I've ever seen. Only in this movie does buckets of water fall completely vertically from the sky
