As much as Rhino hates family walks...he joined the kids and I on a nice stroll to his sister's (beer in hand.)
Wait....it could be the fact that we left his truck there last night cause we were too drunk to drive home!! Damn.... oh never mind...
You can still post about your spouse or significant other if you want.

Tracey's been by my side all day.
I dunno if it's cause she misses the fresh air (I installed the AC today) and is voicing her displeasure, or if she's just really in a gotta-be-near-ya mood.

My wife not only tolerated my bitching about her mom and dad today, she had a few things to add as well.

Actually, my husband has been the best lately. He took care of the kids quite a bit the weekend so I could get out and do some things...he deserves "HUSBAND of the YEAR"

Did it once.
- That was more about the "appreciation thread" than being married...

The GF and I had a good weekend together, talked a few things out.
It was also her birthday so Saturday we see the new Harry Potter with her friends (who I like), had some good Mexican food and drinks with the same friends, then we go to my best friend and his wife's house to cap off the evening. I think we got back to my place a lil after 1 am. Today I had other things to do so did not spend the day with her.

My chick gave me some this morning, held my hand all day, laughed at my snide jokes about the reception sales guy with the horrible wispy orange comb over, and really appreciated me for mowing the lawn and trimming the hedges (either of which she has never done).

I'm a little torn here.
Mrs drjoek and I had the day off together today. We got up early and drove down to RI. We had a few things to bring down and a couple of mirrors to hang. All went well leaving plenty of time for a bit of afternoon romance followed by a walk on the beach.
Perfect day right?
So as we drove back home she realizes that she has left her purse in the kitchen with everything in it!
So after driving home grabbing a quick slice of pizza I am now on my way back to RI to retreive her pocketbook.
2 more hours drive I'll sleep there get up early and drive home for work tomorrow.

My spouse has to be about the best man on this planet....great husband, great father, great son.
My son has been up north for 2 weeks now. He was supposed to be home over a week ago, but he was having so much fun up there we let him stay. So Rhino and I had yet another weekend alone at the camper, which was pretty fun, I must admit. He went to a wedding that he didn't want to go to, but ended up having a great time.
That night rhino spiked a fever and felt like shit...then the next day his mom got sick while being up north. Like scary sick, so even though he felt like shit he drove up (6 hours each way) picked up Burkely and his mom and brought them back home. I could have done this, but I had a job interview. Rhino really wanted me to be able to go to it.
I love him...I really do. I just wanted you all to know that...he's a good guy.
