View Full Version : Please kill the Laugh USA promos!
I want to rip out the larynx of whomever in the SiriusXM braintrust thought it was a great idea to run the same promo for the Laugh USA channel during EVERY commercial break on The Virus channel.
Seriously, EVERY break.
WE GET IT...family friendly comedy...why does heaven have gates?....Amish Paradise....creepy Asian chocolate cake guy...
Please for the love of G-d, stop the madness.
And who the hell thought it was a brilliant idea to advertise the family comedy channel on maybe the most unfamily orientated station on the platform? (except for Out-Q, because they can't have real families).

That's why I listen on Audible. I have no idea what you're talking about, I've never heard it.

I for one, have spent years listening to the Virus, wondering if, somewhere out there, there wasnt a way to get laughs without all the blue talk. Thank you Sirius for answering that question. And I hope you answer it again 3 times this hour.

I've been recording and listening without commercials... I think I'm about to cancel my subscriptions and do the audible thing... one show doesn't seem to justify the cost for XM

yes. cause there has never been overplayed commercials on the channel before. I'm sure they can stop playing them and fill the space with more Larry the Cable Guy commercials (which is extra funny if you think about it).

But it's funny. The guy doing the promo didn't know the name of the band!

Listening in real-time sounds brutal now with all the new commercials. I was wondering how long Ron&Fez are actually on the air now with the new 4 hour show and more commercials compared to say a year or two ago doing 3 hours and barely any commercials, I bet their isn't much of a difference.

I pause then just skip the commercials. The ones I do hear, no matter what the product make me want to drive off the parkway. Hydrolyze.

Before the new time, their Audible shows were running around 2hrs 40mins. Now they're all up to around 3hrs 32mins.
I listen in chunks as I do this and that, and I've noticed that since the time change I have a hard time keeping up with all the shows. I needed this vacation week just to catch up.

Recession? Inflation? Market volatility?

Is that the one where they say the phone number at least five times in a row at the end?
Yeah, they have terrible commercials.
I heard a Geico commercial during R&F yesterday and almost cried tears of happiness.

How is gold the only thing that is not someone else's liability? What about silver and platinum which is more valuable? And, how has Stephen Wright gotten away with using the same act for 15 years?

28 minutes????? How lazy is that???? They should be forced to piss into snapple bottles and do the full 4 hours. I can't believe the nerve of these satellite fat cats. Then out of that 3 hrs 32 minutes there are some things you have to subtract: The open -10minutes. The bumpers -25 minutes. The sound effects and drops they play -1hr. The sleeves songs -33minutes. The repeating of gay marriage talk -59 minutes. I bet they only do about 8 minutes of show a day. No wonder Gvac calls Ron the Bandit.

I really like it when you hear the cell phone ring that always prompts me to pick up the phone and call now.
