The J-League is Japan's Professional Soccer League. The quality of play makes the MLS look like a pack of Peles. On the bright side, Arsene Wenger coached the Nagoya side well enough to interest Arsenal to pick him up almost 14 years ago. And Shunsuke Nakamura got his start there.

The side closest to my place, Avispa Fukuoka, is absolutely horrible. They play an overly fast, clumsy style of play that keeps them a division 2 side. Hopefully the division 3 side in my town can qualify for the J League next year because Avispa is frighteningly terrible.
