View Full Version : Does anyone actually WRITE love letters anymore?

I was going through a box of mementos from my "many conquests." The last actual letters and notes I have are from my now ex-husband.
Then came the COMPUTER AGE. I actually have folders with e-mail texts and IMs from former boyfriends and whatnot. Or WHOnot.
Is this where love is going? No longer can you appreciate a love letter in your lover's handwriting. Now it's in Times Roman. (GOD FORBID COMIC SANS!!! I know the controversy!!)

GOD DAMMIT!!! Can another mod/admin fix my title?
I don't know why, but I can't edit titles.

I didn't notice the misspelled title until you mentioned it.

You're welcome.
And I thought "Soes" was a contraction of "So does..."

I actually do. With a pen and paper and everything! But then I've always been a bit of a romantic.

I do. It could be because I'm still young and my mod quote, but there's something about taking the time to write out something that shows more care than an email. Granted I text and write emails, I would rather write them longhand.

I wrote your name in the sky, but the wind blew it away.
I wrote your name in the sand, but the waves washed it away.
I wrote yor name in my heart, and forever it will stay.

Don't tell him I posted it, please.

I mentioned this in another thread. I've been typing so long, my hand cramps up after only a couple of minutes of actual writing. I seriously can't write much of ANYTHING anymore.

Not on paper, because my handwriting is terrible. But when I give a Valentine or birthday card, I will write a little in the card itself.

Because of my bullshit disease, I have trouble writing. My hand cramps or I just lose complete feeling. It sucks. Oh well.

At least you have a disease to blame it on. I'm just fucking scriptatrophied! Oh... wait... The disease thing is probably worse than my laziness.
