A coworker and I got to talking about these 2 things.
I remembered the Haunted Mansion in Long Branch all along but I had forgotten about the Brigantine Castle until I saw the commercial again.
I went to the Haunted mansion and remember it being kinda disappointing even for a kid.

No one did a better job of terrifying guests with their Haunted Castle than Great Adventure did.

I agree. Those ads were ridiculously scary.

Actually I was reading in one of the YouTube posts that both of these places burned down as did the one in Great Adventure.
Doesn't seem like the other 2 had anybody inside at the time though.

Sounds like insurance fraud to me! I don't remember these commercials. I guess I just missed the cutoff age. It makes me feel better to think I was too young to remember something. Just let me enjoy it.
