In a direct challenge to Microsoft, Google is expected to announce on Wednesday that it is developing an operating system for a personal computer based on its Chrome browser, according to two people briefed on Google’s plans.

The details of the technology could not be learned, but Google plans to make the announcement on a company blog on Wednesday afternoon, this person said.

The article makes it seem like this OS will be used primarily for netbooks. Even so I long for the day I never have to use anything made by Microsoft again. Hopefully this is a first step to that.

Fuck Mac in it's fuck hole. Jobs is a cuckold and Microsuk has many of us dependent. When I do use Ubuntu I feel a sense of freedom.

That said, I do like Win 7, despise Vista, and still like XP mostly for games and such. I look forward to see what Google has to offer
