Man, I loved these things and never thought I'd see them again. The other day I was in the brand new Toys R Us in Times Square and they were selling them for $15 !!!!

How could I not spend $15 for a great childhood memory? Anyone up for a match? I have the blue guy!

I loved the robots. Then all the kids in the neighborhood got BB guns. Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots went to the back of the closet. BB gun wars rule.

This was a great one...but there always seemed to be one color which had a particularly "sensitive" head, which popped easier than the other one. Picking the other one was the key to winning...

being one of 5 sons, we had a couple of them over the years...
didn't take long before we got bored and started the human rock'em sock'em on each other...
:)

one year we got the socker bopper blowup boxing gloves and my 2 oldest brothers started going at it... One of them went through the 1st storm window but not the 2nd, it was on the 4th floor apartment, could've gotten ugly... Our Dad cut them up with scissors after that...
