Never made many friends in school. My friends came from the neighborhood. THe one good friend I had in HS died, so no reason to go.

a 5 year is because it the first time everyone is kind of an adult, fresh out of college (if you went that route) and a member of the real world. My 5 year was a great time.

kind of. the one chick that always organized "the class" to get things done wasn't around. She had just got a new job and moved, then her dad died, so she wasn't in the planning mood, thus us asses could plan anything.

i learned recently that she is pregnant which totally shuts down any chance of a reunion this year.

I would go but have missed 2 already cause I just can't fly over for a quick weekend.
It was 2 cause the first was from basically what my elementary/ middle school was, some people continued that path to a 10 year education (which matches the regular high school route here) and some moved on to higher education called Gymnasium where you go to 12th or 13th grade (depending on the state you live in) and finish with an "Abitur" degree...so the second one was a 10 year reunion for that one in 07.

I did see a lot of friends and people from school when I just recently went. Always a good time to hang out and catch up.

Every Christmas night my high school class meets at a bar. The third and fourth years were pretty big since everyone had just turned 21, the fifth year had a bunch of people, but it was pretty small for the sixth. I imagine some people will come out for the tenth. But, more and more people's parents are moving away, so they don't come home for Christmas. I'm still in college but can't see myself coming to a college reunion. I don't know enough people to make it worth it. With a graduating high school class of 111, I feel lot closer to those people.

I went to my 10 year HS back in September. It was fun for the first 2 hours but after that most everybody was so drunk you couldnt even have a conversation with them. It was a small town in Texas and most of them still live there so I just felt like I was in a room with a bunch of people who havn't grown up or moved on. That said, I still had a good time.

My HS has a get together every Thanksgiving-eve. I've been to a couple, but they're nothing special. Bunch of guys drinking in the auditorium.

My college reunions, however, have been a insane blast where almost my entire class invades the 'ol campus and takes over for a weekend. I'll always go to them.

Westfield High School Class of 97...

I was going through a really shitty time at the time of my 10 year reunion and was down at my Dad's place in NC for Thanksgiving...but I have a friend that went to it and said it was a great time.

The funny thing is that he's somewhat of a ladies man now...but wasn't in High School. He said the experience of seeing everyone from High School all in one place again put him back into the exact same place he was then...and he completely lost all of his game at the reunion...Lots of the girls were coming onto him and he just didn't react. He said it was very strange.
I regret not being there as his wingman.

I would go to a 15 year or 20 year...just to see all the complete retards that I went to school with and how terrible they all look then.

I went to mine and it suuuuuuucked. None of the people I wanted/were curious to see came. It was all the crappy people I never liked anyway. It was nice to see the cheerleaders who got fat and were trying to pretend they were still hot, though. I stayed long enough to feel superior then left.

There were a few HS people I wanted to see, and it wasn't inconvenient (in Manhattan).

I was going to go to my college reunion (2x), not so much because of people I was going to see as because it is beautiful there and I'm sure it would be impressive; however both times required a weekend away, and I couldn't swing it.
