What are your plans for our the 4th?

We will be going to the campground and have a potluck BBQ. Hopefully some fishing and lazy river tubing will happen too. If we are real lucky, titties will come out. I know mine will.

You and Lukas have to be here by 8:30. The parade starts at 9. Bagels and coffee til around 9:15. Then the beers start flowing by 9:30. There are usually 25+ kids, front row for the parade. Then up to the field for bands, parachute jumpers and field day.

I only read one page of this thread, so I'll reply in kind to the few things I actually read.

A) Yes, drinking alone IS a bad idea, like S0S trying to make us laugh to his Ramone jokes.

B) Drinking alone is a gay idea too. And likely terrible. It's not cool just 'cuz you see it on TV.

C) This self-interest people have when they're supposed to adopt a stiff upper lip and do something for their friends regardless of their personal inconvenience is why I'm only inviting very few people to my wedding, if I'm stupid enough to have one someday that is.

D) Fuck doing something this weekend. It's not even in the middle of the week so no days off. And why the fuck should I go do something the same day that 92590356209568 people are stuck on the parkway trying to get to the same fucking beach as everyone else? Go screw.

E) I say fuck too much. I need to work on that.

had a better time at the wedding than i thought i would despite having 2 long term ex boyfriends there. one i'm actually a lot cooler with since it's been like 13 years since we were together anyway. the other, that was a bit rocky. it's been 7 years & he brushed by us to say hi & wasn't even going to shake my boyfriend's hand even though they have known each other for like 15 years. & his current fiance totally blew me off when i went to say hi. bitch the ring is on your finger... what's the fucking problem?

it was a really nice time to see some old friends i haven't seen in forever. & one douchebag who pretended he didn't even know us was there & i wasn't expecting to ever see him again. even though i was nice enough to wave in his general direction when i first got there. he treated me like shit when i broke up with my ex & used to prank call my boyfriend like we're in fucking 2nd grade. of course as soon as we got to the reception my boyfriend started to receive mysterious texts & phone calls. how "random". idiots.

i had a big smile on my face the whole time & rather enjoyed myself quite well. nice to know some people will never change.
