I fucking HATE appreciation threads.
But Fred Willard's o.k. I go back to Frenwood 2-night with Martin Mull,
when he was Jerry Hubbard...

Fernwood 2-Night ruled.
We're a couple of Geezers.
I remember being 10, and staying up late to watch it...
Fred Willard is always the best part of any Christopher Guest mockumentary.

Just watched "Waiting For Guffman" again over the weekend...hysterical
If there's an empty space, just fill it with a line, that's what I like to do. Even if it's from another show.

I'm an even older geezer. I remember being 17 and staying up late to watch it through the static on the UHF dial. For some reason none of my friends knew what I was talking about when I talked about it.

May I start by saying how thrilled we are to have you here. We are such fans of your music and all of your records. I'm not speaking of yours personally, but the whole genre of the rock and roll.
This is our monthly "At Ease" weekend. It gives us a chance to let our hair down, although I see you've got a head start in that department. I shouldn't talk, though, I'm getting a little shaggy myself. I'd better not stand too close to you, people might think I'm part of the band. I'm joking, of course.

Awesome show. Nick at Nite aired the reruns at night about 20 years ago too. I wish someone else would air them or put them on DVD.
